As we know, three of the four routes to Santiago that cross the Pyrenees into French territory do so at Saint Jean Pied de Port and the Arles route at Col du Somport.
The abbey of Sainte-Foy de Conques is on the road to Le Puy, as is the abbey of Moissac.
